bogging for cm 1145

One major topic discussed in cm 1145 this term is defiantly arguments and appeals! It turns out I actually  like writing about emotional appeals. Emotional appeals are very commonly used, it is a type of writing used to trigger some kind of emotion wether it is sadness, happiness or humour. When an emotional appeal is used it makes a subject a lot more interesting and appealing to readers. An emotional appeal can also be effective in commercials, for example smoking commercials. Im sure everyone feels an eery sense of sadness and disturbance when watching a smoking commercial. This is no coincidence these commercials are made purposely to appeal to your emotions. I feel that emotional appeals have more of an impact on a person and sometimes if reading or watching something where emotions are involved then the person is more likely to remember what it was that they watched or are reading !
